Music icons, Jay Z and Kanye West, who are performing their ‘Watch the Throne’ show this weekend in Ireland, have offered to cut ticket prices for their Saturday show, according to Journal.ie
Tickets are available, cash only at €49.40 at Ticketmaster without incurring any additional charges. To get the discounted tickets, student or unwaged ID must be shown.
Friday’s show is sold out. Tickets are still available for Saturday’s show, with a price range from €49.50-€79.50. The tickets remaining at €49.50 are for tiered seating only. The cheapest tickets available for Friday night’s concert were €69.50. The new price for Saturday’s cheapest tickets shows at discount of 20%.
MCD said that Jay Z and Kanye West feel that Irish fans have “always been great supporters of their music over the years.” That is the reason they have went to extra lengths to allow more of their fans to attend the concert.

Concert ticket prices in Ireland are exhorbitant. Yes, this would be a discount compared to the rip-off prices usually charged.

20% off and they call that a discount??? I mean really, they could have at least offered a 50% discount or more. I'm not impressed at all.
