Ireland’s most popular girlband B*Witched are in talks to make a big comeback.

The “C’est La Vie” singers, who had a run of hit songs in Britain, Ireland and North America from 1998 to 2000, are looking to follow in the footsteps of other 90s groups like America’s New Kids on the Block and Ireland’s Boyzone and reform their band.

B*Witched is one of Ireland’s most successful groups. They released two albums and eight singles in their time together, including “Rollercoaster” and “Blame it on the Weatherman,” all of which made Britain’s Top 20. They split up in 2002 after being dropped by their music label.

Twins Edele and Keavy Lynch, Sinead O’Carroll and Lindsay Armaou, the band’s original members, recently met up after nearly three years of being separated from one another, and O’Carroll told Ireland’s Herald “It was like we had never been apart.”

“Lindsay and Keavy flew in especially for the night out and I picked them up from the airport and Edele cooked us all dinner in her house,” O’Carroll said. “It was lovely seeing them all again as we were very close for a long time.”

O’Carroll and Edele Lynch famously feuded behind the scenes during B*Witched’s successful run, but O’Carroll says that she and Edele, the sister of Boyzone star Shane Lynch, have put their differences behind them.

Both women are now married mothers – Lynch has two-year-old Ceol while O’Carroll has 11-month-old Samarah.

"What happened is in the past and we have both moved on,” O’Carroll said. We have a lot in common now, given that we both have baby girls," she said.

O’Carroll went on to reveal that the girlband has been approached numerous time over the years since their heyday about the possibility of a reunion.

"I had a great time doing it and I think to go back there and so something like that again would definitely give me such a buzz,” she said.

“If it's meant to be, it will happen. I still have my outfits in storage!”
