Irish-American actress, and Maxim’s sexiest woman of the year, Olivia Wilde stars in the upcoming critically acclaimed indie film “Fix.”

Wilde, best known from her roles on “The OC” and “House,” stars alongside her real-life husband, Italian prince Tao Ruspoli.

Ruspoli also directs the project, which is already an indie hit and will open in theaters on November 20.

This race-against-time film, inspired by true events and shot in the first person by its main characters, follows documentary filmmakers Bella (played by Wilde) and Milo Racing (Ruspoli) as they rush across Los Angeles in order to get Milo’s brother Leo (“Dazed and Confused” actor Shawn Andrews) from jail to rehab before 8 p.m., or Leo goes to prison for three years.

The trio documents their trip from a suburban police station in Calabasas through mansions in Beverly Hills, East L.A. chopshops, rural wastelands and housing projects in Watts as they attempt to raise the $5,000 required to get Leo into the rehab clinic.

Along the way they encounter a score of colorful characters, each with their own interesting perspective on Leo’s larger-than-life personality and style, and each with their own excuse for why they cannot help out.

With her starring role in “Fix,” Wilde, who has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Ireland, continues her transition from the small screen to the silver screen.

Besides her guest role on “The OC” and her ongoing role on “House,” Wilde also starred in the short-lived Irish-American TV series “The Black Donnellys.”

Most recently, the actress, whose father is the Irish journalist Andrew Cockburn, appeared in the blockbuster “Year One.”

The gorgeous star began her acting career in Dublin where she attended the Gaiety School of Acting.
