Watch the original version. Hollywood remakes always ruin films.

They are really pushing the bar on this one. The book was great but it sounds from this review that the movie is an orgy of violent sex just to be more shocking. Who the heck wants to sit through that ? It's a shame because it didn't have to stoop so low and ruin what should be a great drama.

I have been trying for MONTHS to "get into" this book, but cannot, for some reason, make it past the first 20 or so pages. I thought perhaps I would go see the movie, which might motivate me to read the story, as I hate to waste the money I spent on the book. Well, after reading this review, I won't be seeing the movie OR reading the book! Tin-Tin or We Bought a Zoo sound more the speed for me!

In the unlikely event that she is HALF the performer that Noomi Rapace was in this role, she might be good.
