An excellent review. I saw this show on the Premier performance, opening night in Newcastle. It is marvelous and magical. Elaine C. Smith is ideal and believable as Susan and the narrator of the show. Simple and clever sets, an excellent small ensemble cast. Susan appears in the finale most nights and knocks everyone's socks off with her unbelievable strong voice. You haven't heard Susan sing until you've heard her sing live!! If this show is near you, and you are lucky enough to get tickets, go!! If not near you, it's worth the plane trip! I traveled 17,000 miles round trip. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!

Susan's charisma is quite evident anytime she appears, whether before a live audience or in a video. I have never had the privilege of seeing her in person, and am fervently hoping the Musical makes its way to the USA. Seeing Susan live is my dream. She is magnificent.

Lovely review, but dreadful grammar. Instead of "Myself, my sister and a friend found ourselves at the world premiere of I Dreamed A Dream..." Try, "My sister, a friend and I found ourselves at the world premiere....." It's correct, but more important, it is more clear.
