Glen Beck was a so-so radio host in Connecticut long before he struck it rich. He is as phony as the day is long. He has the ability to convince some of his listeners that his fake sincerity is real. It is all part of the act.

Anyone who reads their Bible will see that what Glenn is sharing is amazing, for no one has been bold enough to take on radical Islamists. Walid Shoebat, an ex Mulsim Extremist, now Christian, has shared the same info for years. The churches aren't stepping up because they choose to stay politically correct. Thanks for Glenn Beck for opening people's eyes and minds. God Protect Glenn Beck!

@Monsoonman...I see you are one of the Right Wing Kool Aid Brigade. I hope you enjoy the feeling of your empty pockets when your party is done taking away all your money and giving it to the rich guys at the top. The guys who are laughing up their sleeves at all you chumps.

Ah the kool-aid brigade to the rescue with they "only get 2% of their funding from the taxpayer pocket" fable. Even if that were true that would be 2% too much from our pockets. But of course the big lie is to cover the fact that npr/pbs, etc. get most of their "funding" from their network of stations around the country and all of them do receive taxpayer dollars. Is there anything the left can do with out pickpocketing the American citizens? Gotta have state paid for propaganda to spread their lies. Gotta have taxpayer paid for organizations to commit voter fraud for ya. And taxpayer paid unions who kick back directly to their dem public servants.

NPR only receives 2% of it's funding from taxpayers. So let the Republicans take it away. NPR will do just as well without it and some Republican or Tea Bagger will be happy to put that 2% in their own pocket instead of giving it back to the tax payers.

It's the free market if Beck doesn't pull the numbers then the station will try something different. Air America tried and failed. The only "successful" liberal radio broadcast co. is NPR, because it is paid for by taxpayers so it cant fail. Hopefully funding will get yanked and npr can live or die by the quality of its content...I am tired of subsidizing the democrats.

Freedom of Speech doesn't mean a guaranteed media outlet. Glenn Beck can still say whatever he wants anytime he wants and to anyone who will listen. But apparently in Connecticut he didn't have enough listeners. Take Note John Boehner, maybe public blubbering isn't the best way to go.

Is free speech important to anyone anymore (I realize we don't get much unbiased reporting anymore).
If not, think Hitler and go burn some books, because we haven't learned anything from history.
mayoman-read history! I don't want anyone censored, why would you?? That includes NPR OR Glenn Beck!
YOU CAN ACTUALLY LEARN FROM BOTH! WITH AN OPEN MIND!

The market place will decide. Liberals are freightened by the market place deciding.

This is very good news indeed. Let's hope every station wises up and sends this looney packing. However, let's also hope that he's not replaced with yet another rightwing headcase. As we well know; their number is unfortunately legion.

About time! Now to get TV stations to do the same. Send a message to Fox "News."
