Irish star is looking mean and moody

Colin Farrell in 'Total Recall'

The epic reboot of the sci-fi classic 'Total Recall' has already attracted fierce buzz, but with some newly leaked pics of Colin Farrell this week the speculation is off the charts.

But Farrell warned the press tonight not to expect a camp classic - so forget the Arnold Schwarzenegger style catch phrases and wink to the audience.

Instead, the Irish hunk says 'the tone will be much less jokey' and 'there's not as much tongue in cheek.'

The reboot will co-star Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and Korean American hunk John Cho.

'Total Recall' is a terrific title for the moment because with a prequel to 'The Thing' and a remake of 'Conan the Barbarbian' (really? the world needed this?) coming later this year it's back to the future in tinsel town.

Colin Farrell called an 'irresistible sociopath' by New York Times reviewer - Claims he lacks moral compass

Fans saw Farrell's star fall and then rise again with his Golden Globe win for his role in 'In Bruges.' But mainstream audiences will be knocked out by his brilliant turn in 'Horrible Bosses' (he's the best thing in the film) currently playing.

His turn in 'Total Recall' takes him back to A-List territory, but this time it's on his own terms - and since he's always been the smarts (if not the most disciplined) of artists, we expect him to wipe the floors with the competition.

I agree with forflann.
This was an acceptably article until you interjected that misleading banner from the past. The Times article had the word "appears" to be a sociopath[not a word to used if one is totally ignorant of the true meaning thereof] Miss Gould is NOT a paid staff member of The Times and is a former head of a radical feminist web-site. Everyone who has read and reviewed Your Voice in my Head has never asked or even considered if it was a true story of her brief [6 mos.] affair with Mr. Farrell. When the film Liars comes out in the UK you will see how she rips every guy she has ever dated. I hate one-sided stories. If I was interested in one-sided stories I'd watch Rupert Murdock"s Fox network!!!
