Ed Burns revisits his Irish roots in new movie “The Fitzgerald Family Christmas” - VIDEO

If hie new release is anythign like "The Brother's Mc Mullan[/Na Deartháir Mac Maólain"], he should be in for an Oscar. Surprised to hear it's 17 years old. Recall seeing it first, and getting a copy for my arthouse video/DVD library. Would heartily recommend it to anyone who appreciates qualitative arthouse in contrast to the quantitative mass production churned out by Hollywood.

Thanks Ed for not forgetting where you come from. There are many stories about Irish Americans without being negative. I hope he goes easy on the f word though. Why that has become accepted still makes me cringe but then I'm from the old school .
