Fans of “The Dark Knight rises” voice their often harsh criticisms toward the photograph released by Warner Brothers, which only displayed Hathaway’s face and upper body.
The actress admitted that she asked someone to send her a few different reactions to the photo. She said she was aware that several different publications and fans were against the costume, including television giant, MTV.
To the surprise of the reporter, the “One day” star sarcastically said:
"I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh."

The photograph ensued quite a number of debates although the release of the trailer has made the film one of the most anticipated releases of the upcoming year.
The actress promised that the photograph was no indication of the capabilities of her character or the film saying, “What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do."
The stars of the “Dark Knight” sequel have been prompted by the studio to remain tight-lipped about details but Hathaway did her best at pushing aside all criticism.
"If you did like the photo, you have excellent taste,"she concluded jokingly.
