Derry boy and former Celtic Thunder member Damian McGinty received the opportunity of a lifetime when he won a role on “Glee” for the third season. However, the down to earth Northern boy has confirmed that he will not return to McKinley High.
Speaking to his local newspaper, The Derry Journal, McGinty said he has no plans to return to “Glee” but said “nothing is set in stone yet”.
McGinty said “There are rumors online that I am coming back, but nothing confirmed at all.
“I am working on several other projects at the minute, which are very exciting. Hollywood takes time for things to happen, but fingers crossed with a bit of help from God, and a bit of luck, it’ll work out,” he said.
The Derry buy also revealed that he will be releasing a sing on iTunes next Monday (1st October 2012) which was produced by fellow “Glee Project” contestant Cameron Mitchell.

Damian left Celtic Thunder too soon, and hoped for a career in Calif. and it just didn't work out, and CT is busy performing globally and doing very well.
