Batman's just too old for crime fighting. That's the message coming from none other than comedian and talk show supremo Conan O'Brien.

And perhaps O'Brien has a point - the character was created over 70 years ago which would see him ready for a rest home and not tackling bad guys.

O'Brien took advantage of the recent video game 'Batman: Arkham City' to make his point. Cutting to a clip from the game O'Brien spoofed the franchise with gag narration from an elderly sounding man.

Have a look at the clip below:

See what happens when you send an Irish-American to Harvard? He becomes an expert on comic book heroes!
Arkham City? I thought Batman lived in Gotham City! Arkham was a fictional city, in the writings of H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937). After his death, his protege, August Derleth, opened Arkham House, a publishing company. He published his mentor's works, his own works, and the writings of others, including Frank B. Long, Clark Ashton Smith, and a young (at the time) writer named J. Ramsey Campbell. Mr. Derleth died on 7/4/71. His assistant, I think named Roderick Meng, kept Arkham House going for a brief period, before it shut down.
