Irish-American comedian Colin Quinn will be generating laughs for charity.

Quinn, along with several other talented comedians, will perform at Laugh For Sight, the annual charity benefit showcasing some of the world’s best stand-up comedians performing to raise money to combat degenerative eye diseases.

Along with “Saturday Night Live” and Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” star Colin Quinn, the lineup for Laugh For Sight 4 will feature legendary Grammy and Tony nominee Robert Klein, “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” correspondent John Oliver, “Last Comic Standing” stars Bonnie McFarlane and Rich Vos, audience warm-up comedian for “The Late Show with David Letterman” Eddie Brill and Laugh for Sight founder/president Brian Fischler and his guide dog, Nash.

Proceeds from Laugh For Sight 4 will benefit two charities this year: Guiding Eyes for the Blind (http://www.guidingeyes.org), a publicly funded top guide dog school, and the Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania (http://www.uphs.upenn.edu/ophthalmology), a world-renowned research facility that is on the forefront of finding a cure for macular degenerative eye diseases. All donations are tax deductible.

The event is scheduled for 7PM, Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at the world famous Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.
