with that skanger accent he has, he should play the role of bertie ahern, and be taken out into the middle of dublin and shot!
I don't know that I like this idea. I like Black Sabbath but I have disgust of Ozzy and the fact of Colin drinks, smokes and womanizes doesn't means that he likes them. Maybe will be a great interpretation and a challenge exactly cause Colin no has anything in common with them. So in my modest opinion it's many more important things, lifes, or subjects for to film. However this is a Colin's choice only... a soft kiss as a flute's note in the air beteween the sky and the earth.... Deborah Reis A Flauta da Lua... The Moon's Flute...
How does "The Paramount Pictures and MTV Film’s have revealed that Colin Farrell would be their ideal choice to play the Brummie rocker." translate in to being "Set to play the role" ?? This is not a done deal. I'm not saying that it won't happen .. I don't know that, but it is far from a done deal. Until a RELIABLE source like THR or Variety say that Colin has signed on the dotted line, I would be wary of believing these rumors. The same thing happened with "Something Borrowed". A couple of ill informed internet reporters posted that Colin was in that movie.. when he was never even close to taking the role. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true.
Colin Farrell is an outstanding actor and will do a great job playing Ozzy. I do take Ozzy's point though about the Brummie accent. Colin has such a pronounced Dublin accent that I'm wondering how easily will he be able to shed it and adapt a Brummie one.? Oh ..... Colin can sing as well.!
