oh yes the multi-talented dad Brendan Gleeson also wrote the screen play for the film!

hope this is a for sure for at swim-two-birds. this great book deserves to be a movie,with all the poetry and mythic tales included. the Irish film board only gave the film 11 million dollar grant so money was holding them back.
