I think I see a wee problem with the plot, Chris. Any chancer arriving in Irish politics in the 15 years that includes the birth, growth and death of the Celtic Tiger would find the government already corrupted beyond further corruption and/or redemption. Maybe 50 years might work, but I'm not sure...
