I have always felt that Mike got a bum rap, both in life and in the press. How many people remember, or mention, that Evander Holyfield once bit the ear of one of his opponents? This seems to be a forgotten fact in boxing history. Also, I do not believe for one moment that he ever hit his former wife. Let's face it, if he ever lost his temper and hit her, she would be dead. As far as the rape charge goes...I doubt very much if that happened, either. My brother once met and spent an evening hanging out with Mike and said he was an all-around nice guy. I don't see why my brother would lie about that, either. I think Mike was surrounded by people who were interested in his money only, not in the person that he is. I wish him well, as I always have.
