Casey Anthony releases first YouTube video - no mention of daughter Caylee - VIDEO
Blonde and spectacled Anthony discusses her new computer, the future and her new dog
Casey Anthony, the mother acquitted in the case of the murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, has released her first video diary on YouTube. With a new blonde look, Anthony talks about her new dog and her new life, but fails to mention her decease toddler daughter once.
MSNBC has confirmed that the video released on YouTube on Thursday is genuine. Anthony, who is currently on parole, sports a short blonde haircut and dark rimmed glasses. Viewers are shocked at the fact that although she talks about her new computer, her dog and her future, she does not, during the four minute, 20 second video, mention Caylee once.
Speaking about her new computer she says that she’s relieved to have started to video blog and to have something or somebody to talk to. She said “I’m just starting to figure out my new computer and I don’t know, I guess I’m liking it so far. It’s definitely a different ballgame for me since I’ve never used this before.”

She continues, “You know, I’m extremely excited. I’m excited that I’ll be able to Skype and obviously keep a video log, take some pictures, and then I have something that I can finally call mine.
“I don’t know, it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to call something ‘mine’ and now that I have something even as silly as saying I have a computer, a camera, and a phone, for instance, I wouldn’t have the phone without (inaudible), and I’ve actually now paid for my own computer.
“The camera was a gift but these are things that are mine that I don’t have to, I don’t know, that I don’t have to give back. It’s kind of nice to finally be able to say that I have some belongings that are mine and that I’ll be able to keep with me after I leave here next year.”
She comments, “It’s a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven’t changed…But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way. It’s like they say … good things stay good and that they only get better … they only get better.”
Just hours after Anthony posted this on YouTube there were hundreds of comments on MSNBC. One read “She’s nuts and now she’s trying to pretend that nothing has happened. Good luck because people don’t forget people who murder their children. Her mind is completely gone and I believe she is dangerous. Just watch, this mentally disturbed woman will have another child.”
Another asked “What about Caylee???
WHAT ABOUT CAYLEE???
Has all of this nightmare spotlight been enjoyable for this...this...I can't even find the right word to describe her.”
Anthony said that she will continue to post video blogs, and mentioned that perhaps next time she’ll bring her dog.
