Casey Affleck cast for role as Angel Gabriel in 'Paradise Lost'
Just Ben's younger brother no more
'Paradise Lost,' the classic 17th century epic poem by John Milton that tells the tale of an epic war in heaven between archangels Lucifer and Michael, including their roles in Adam and Eve's fall from grace, is being made into a film.
Bradley Cooper has been cast as Lucifer with Casey Affleck (younger brother of Ben) just cast in the role of the angel Gabriel.
An angel with six wings, in the Bible and in Milton's long poem, Gabriel is created by God to act as His messenger - however alongside Michael he soon finds himself at war with Lucifer.
Affleck's last big screen role was his disturbing turn in 'The Killer Inside Me' and next we'll see him in Brett Ratner's comedy 'Tower Heist' starring Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy.
