I see the Irish naysayers are out in full force as usual. In days gone by they used to get up on vaudeville stages dressed in baggy, dirty, clothes and put on a Irish drunken act to the amusement of the yankees. Of course they made great money at it. Then some of them went into reporting or writing. The one think they can't stand is success by any of their fellow countrymen. My Irish father hated these people. Jealous, do nothings is what he called them. I think he was right on target. Do something successful and then you will get over your jealousy.
Backstreets, Jungleland, Point Blank, like the Heavy Boss; Bruce`s Dylanesque alway`s seemed bit Hypocritical to me, ( Born in Pacific Palisades ? ) who`s he supporting for President this Time round ?
What a load of Blarney this is. So Bruce has Irish ancestors. The author of this article is referring to an old book and even got Bruce's age wrong! Pretty lame excuse for something newsworthy or of interest.
Yo, This is the DVD & CD of a Life Time: Bruce Springsteen to Cover Joe Dolan's Hits! Bono is the man to set it up & it will be great for ALL involved.
