Bruce Springsteen set to play Thomond Park in July 2013
Springsteen will return to Ireland
Bruce Springsteen is getting his Irish up yet again. The Boss plays Ireland just about every year he can, it seems, and 2013 will be no different.
Jersey’s favorite son has scheduled three shows throughout Ireland in July – he’ll be in Thomond Park in Limerick on July 16, Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork two nights later, and the King’s Hall Arena in Belfast July 20.
Yes, Dublin is missing from the itinerary this time around. He’s played there a zillion times in the past – most recently in July -- so it’s nice that he’s mixing things up a bit.
Tickets for all the Bruce shows go on sale on Thursday, December 6 from ticketmaster.ie. And the pricetag is cheap -- €90 for standing, and €100 for seats. The Belfast show comes in at £79.
Considering the scandalous ticket prices acts like Madonna are charging, Bruce’s shows are a bargain and would make a nice holiday gift for all the Irish-based Boss fans out there.
