Liam Neeson strips for charity on the Ellen DeGeneres’ show - VIDEO
Northern Irish star gets naked and drenched for a good cause in new game
Liam Neeson, star of the upcoming film “Taken 2”, appeared on Ellen DeGeneres show wearing a pair of pink briefs, sitting in a cubicle, where he was drenched, but all in the name of charity.
The Northern Irish actor was the first celebrity to sit in the “Gunk Tank,” one of the chat show host’s new games. Ellen offered boxers or briefs and the star chose the latter. Ellen told him, “You’re setting the bar high. Whoever follows you.”
Neeson later appeared in a pink dressing robe and joking asked, “If I take this off does the 10 thousand become 20 thousand?”
The chat show host replied “I’ll make that happen if you take that off and go sit in that chair.”
The actor pushed his luck asking if he could get more cash by taking off the briefs, but Ellen said, “We get fined if you take those off. I mean, some people might enjoy it, but . . .”
After Neeson sat down in the “Gunk Tank,” Ellen commented on the optical allusion saying, “Oh my god, if someone’s just tuning in you look naked in there.”
An audience member from the hit chat show was pulled onto the stage to throw balls at a target and the Ellen Show would donate $10,000 to breast cancer research if the audience member was successful. Within a minute, the target was hit and a large bucket of water was dumped over Neeson’s head.
Neeson, who plays Bryan Mills in the “Taken” movies says it will not be a trilogy.
He said, “No, I think we’re finished, that’s it. Mind you, I thought we were finished with the first one.”
