Hollywood stud Bradley Cooper is back in talks with “The Silver Lining Sequel” studio after Mark Wahlberg is forced to leave the project due to a reported scheduling conflict.

Last month it was reported that Mark Wahlberg was gearing up for “The Fighter” sequel and even handpicked Jennifer Lawrence as his leading lady. Ironically, it is the beauty’s schedule that is causing Wahlberg’s sudden exit from the project.

Since the actress is currently filming “The Hunger Games,” production on the big screen adaptation of Matthew Quick’s novel has to be pushed back to a time when Wahlberg is scheduled to be shooting a different film.

“The Silver Linings Playbook” revolves around a former high school teacher who was institutionalized for depression and released into his mother’s care. He struggles to win his ex-wife back and is tangled up by his troubled neighbor (played by Jennifer Lawrence) who falls for him in the process of piecing their lives back together.

Production is set to start in the fall and David O. Russell is directing the film. Robert de Niro is also in talks to star alongside Cooper in the film that is set to be out in theaters in 2013.
