U2 star Bono steps out for first time since emergency surgery
U2 frontman Bono is recovering in style from his recent emergency back surgery. Yesterday the Irish rock singer was spotted out for lunch with friends at La Voile d’Or in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.
The U2 frontman seemed in good spirits as he made his way to his luxurious hotel after one of his first adventures out in public since his recent ordeal.
In related news, there’s no doubt that Bono needed emergency surgery is costing him.
U2 manager Paul McGuinness has put tour overhead at $750,000 a day, which covers the cost of moving crew and nearly 200 trucks that hold three complete stage setups to keep up with one another as the show moves from city to city.
With those kind of numbers in play, Bono must be hoping for a speedy recovery.
