Irish newlywed Andrea Corr will join Bono, U2 and The Pogues' Shane MacGowan Sunday night for an AIDS benefit concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The boys from U2 are here to lend a hand to the band's "consultant and midwife," Irish singer Gavin Friday, who has put together a star-studded spectacular affair.

The Irish music superstars will be joined by rocker Courtney Love and actress/singer Scarlett Johansson for Friday's gig to raise money to fight AIDS.

The roots of the concert stretch back to the late 90s when an Irish reporter asked Gavin Friday what he'd like to do before he turned 50.

The Dublin singer/songwriter said the answer was easy: Play Carnegie Hall.

So, his best friends in U2 helped him to fulfill his dream, and now Sunday's concert at Carnegie will be a charity gig plus 50th birthday celebration for Gavin.

The full line-up includes (A-Z) Laurie Anderson, Antony, Elizabeth Ashley, Bono, Adam Clayton, Andrea Corr, The Edge, Flo & Eddie, Joel Grey, Bill Frisell, Guggi, Scarlett Johansson, Courtney Love, Lydia Lunch, Patrick McCabe, Maria McKee, Shane MacGowan, Eric Mingus, Larry Mullen, Jr., JG Thirlwell, Martha Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, Chloe Webb and other special guests.
