Barbara Walters to interview the Obamas in '20/20' special

Barbara Walters will interview the the President and First Lady in a special edition of 20/20 it has been announced.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be grilled for one-hour by the journalist in what will become a Thanksgiving special on November 26th.

The interview will be conducted in the White House on November 23rd according to ABC.

The TV network has said that the discussion will include "major challenges facing" President Obama and "how the the whole family reacted to the President's political reversal".

Walters previously interviewed the couple in November 2008.

A Barbara Walters Special: A Thanksgiving Visit with President and Mrs Obama airs on 20/20 on November 26 at 10pm ET on ABC.
