Filmmakers Daryl Wein and Zoe Lister-Jones are in negotiations with Anne Hathaway to have her star in their upcoming project "Lola Versus."

The plot of the new romantic comedy is still being kept under wraps but producer Michael London's Groundswell Productions said: "The project is still at the packaging stage and nothing has been firmed on either the talent or the distribution front."

The Oscar-winning actress has recently starred in "Alice in Wonderland" and "Valentine's Day".

She has just finished "One Day", a big-screen adaptation of a David Nicholl's best-selling novel alongside Jim Sturgess and Romola Garai.

Her next movie, "Love and Other Drugs" with Jake Gyllenhaal has already been generating awards buzz.
