Anne Hathaway found hosting the Oscars 'pure joy from beginning to end' - VIDEO & POLL

Anne Hathaway was a revolting hostess. Her whoop-whooping as if it were a sporting event did not hing to promote the evening, but it did n much to totally take away any sense of glamor. Long gone is the old glamor of Hollywood, as evidenced by Ms. Hathaway's disturbing and condescending quip, "We are the younger, more hip generation-whoop!" If this is the new and hip Oscars, I am no longer watching. I admit she can sing and can wear the heck out of a gown, complete with impeccable hair and makeup, but she is not fun to watch, her voice is grating, and her energy was inappropriate for the event. I believe her co-host was disinterested and tired of her hanging on his arm, whooping in his ear. Standing O goes to Hugh Jackman or Billy Crystal for their past quality hosting!
