I wish to express my heartfelt congratulations to the girl I most admired in 2nd Grade, Patricia Kehoe, for achieving this distinction! I also posted a congratulatory message to her on MYLife, but I don't think Patricia is an active member. All should know that Patricia was smart and personable in St. Sebastian's, which is located in Woodside, Queens. She actually wanted to become a Sister of Charity (the order of nuns who taught us there), when she grew up! Patricia usually had long, stringy hair, which I loved. About 3 or 4 times a month, she came to school with her hair in braids, which I didn't like! We made our 1st Communion on May 5th. Our class was the first to receive 1st Communion in the new church, which our pastor, Father Moran, had built from an old movie theater! Sadly, her family moved out of Sunnyside the last full week of 2nd Grade. June 21st was a sad day in my young life, when Patricia made her final appearance in St. Sebastian's. I lived around the corner, and 2 avenues up from her. Patricia, I would still like to see you again, despite an absence of all these years! Continued best wishes with PK Network Communications! Donald
