Jameson's Irish whiskey is powerfully inspiration stuff, so says pop star Lady Gaga who said it inspired her multi-platinum album Born This Way.

Speaking to 40,000 fans at Aviva Stadium in Dublin last Saturday, Gaga was candid: 'I have made so much of my music with Jameson. I'm not being paid a cent to advertise the whiskey. I should be. The whiskey has made my new songs,' Gaga said while taking a big swig on stage.

According to the Irish Independent, the 26-year-old has made more than $72 million after 26 dates into her 122 date Born This Way Ball world tour.

'I love it here in Ireland. I am usually always wasted down the back of a pub when I come to Ireland. I'm usually huddled in a booth with a bottle of Jameson. There's such a free spirit here and some of the nicest people in the world,' she said to her fans.

Saoirse Ronan, Jedward, and Lady Gaga's parents were among guests on the night.

After her Dublin gig, Gaga jetted to London to make an unannounced appearance at famous Irish hat maker Phillip Treacy's show.

Treacy, 45, from Galway made a triumphant return to London Fashion Week with a rapturously received collection of 36 new pieces on Sunday.

'Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest milliner in the world. Philip Treacy,' Gaga announced simply, and the show began.
