Surpassing sales of one million units combined, Billboard's Top World Music Artist, Celtic Thunder pay homage to the musical culture of Ireland with their new show “Voyage.”
The group performances highlight the diversity of Irish music and song; from the powerful rendition of "Dulaman" to the love song "Maid of Culmore," the collection also features a rousing performance of "Galway Girl" and beloved Irish party song "My Irish Molly-O."
They are set to play two shows in New York City at the Beacon Theater (Broadway at W 74th St) on Saturday, 29th September 2012.
With a new CD and DVD concert special of the same name, “Voyage” arrives in stores February 28th (Decca) just in time for St. Patrick's Day as it begins airing on Public Television during the March 2012 pledge period.
Celtic Thunder's successful resume includes opening New York City's famed St. Patrick's Day Parade two consecutive years in a row (2008 & 2009) and six public television specials. Their official YouTube channel "Thunder Tube" has received over twenty five million views since its inception in 2008.
Tickets: $50, $67.50, $80 (Incl. $5.00 facility fee) available via Ticketmaster, charge-by-phone at 866-858-0008 and Beacon Theatre, Radio City Music Hall and MSG Box Offices.
Here’s "Atmos, Druids, Deus Meus & Dulaman" from “Voyage”:

Great bunch of guys. Ryan had a tragic (almost fatal) accident this summer, but thankfully recovered to rejoin the group. I have a ticket to both shows in NY and can't wait to see them again. Each CD and DVD is better than the one before, and you can see how much fun they have performing. Welcome back guys!!!!!
