CIE Tours is offering quite an Irish travel steal this winter.
If you and a friend/spouse/family member want an Irish getaway this November or December, check out the latest deal CIE is offering: six nights in the West of Ireland, including airfare from New York, a Hertz rental car with unlimited mileage and all six nights at first class hotels – for $799. Their “West of Ireland self-drive vacation” will bring you into Ireland through Shannon, County Galway, where you’ll pick up your car.

The first two days will be spent in Galway, the “capital” of Ireland’s West, where you can explore Galway city or the scenic rural Connemara region.
For the next three days, you’ll head south along the coast of County Clare, home of the famous Cliffs of Moher, to Killarney County Kerry and County Cork. You can choose to stay in a hotel in Killarney, Cork City or Kinsale, and any hotel you stay in throughout the trip offers a free full Irish breakfast each morning.
Your last day in Ireland’s West will be spent back up in the Shannon area, where you can stay in Bunratty or Limerick City.
If you’re familiar with Ireland’s rural West, great – take your car and head off into the greenery.
But if you’re a novice Irish traveler, CIE will provide you with an itinerary to follow with discounted admissions to attractions along the way.
All travelers will receive a copy of a 100-page Ireland guidebook with a map, and a copy of “Ireland at a Glimpse” discount booklet, which provides 50 percent discounts to attractions.
