This week, dancing duo Tristan MacManus and Nancy Grace will be performing a jive for ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Halloween special. Grace blogs about her progress over the six weeks she’s been dancing with Irish-born Tristan MacManus.

About last week’s foxtrot to ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ from Spamalot, Grace writes: “First try in rehearsals, he [Tristan] dropped me on my head and pulled my pants off. Good times!”

The hard practices paid off though, MacManus and Grace scored 24 points from the judges, with Carrie Ann Inaba commenting how their performance was a “show-stopper,” a marked improvement from earlier weeks for Grace. “This week was all about progress,” writes Grace.

For tonight’s show, MacManus and Grace will be doing a jive for the Halloween special. In addition, Grace writes how she and her Irish partner will also be a part of another group dance.

While Grace may feel anxious about another week of competition, she writes how Tristan often reminds her that “six weeks ago, I did not know how to dance.”
