Irish export Tristan MacManus made a return to the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ stage on Tuesday night to take part in the ABC reality competition’s season fourteen finale. Joining him was his competition partner and soul goddess Gladys Knight. Both MacManus and Knight enjoyed a return to the limelight for the evening.

All of the ousted couples got to make a return to the stage for the evening to perform one of their most well received dances from their time during the competition. Tristan and Gladys performed their dance to the upbeat ‘Best of My Love,’ which was met with thunderous applause from the live audience.

Later, Tristan was back on the stage as part of an ensemble that danced to guest singer Kelly Clarkson’s medley of ‘Dark Side’ and ‘Stronger.’ Clarkson is no stranger to reality competitions having been the first-ever winner on FOX’s ‘American Idol.’

Tristan knew he couldn’t leave his adoring fans in the dark much longer about his summer plans either. He announced that he’ll be joining the Las Vegas tour of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ during June for a few performances at the Tropicana resort.

Soulstress Gladys Knight took the stage again, but this time she singing instead of dancing. Knight performed a stirring rendition of ‘The Way We Were’ as the final performance of the night which served as the lead up to the much anticipated reveal of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion pair.

Ultimately, NFL player Donald Driver and his pro-partner Peta Murgatroyd claimed overall victory and were awarded the much coveted mirrorball trophy. The couple beat out William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke who came in third, and Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas finishing as the runners-up.
