1.   Attended Dublin’s Gaiety Drama School but eventually dropped out to play Danny Byrne on the BBC series Ballykissangel.

2.   Colin once auditioned for the Irish boy band ‘Boyzone’.

4.   According to IMDB his mother persuaded him to take dancing lessons with his brothers.

5.   An avid footballer, Farrell wanted to a be a soccer player as a child just like his father Eamon Farrell.
