Colin Farrell’s name has been all over the tabloids since his girlfriend, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda, stepped out sporting what seems to be a baby bump.

Just seven months since the “Ondine” co-stars hooked up, the two actors are expecting a child – the second for Farrell, who has son James, 6, with model Kim Bordenave.

Ireland’s favorite actor has met Bachleda’s family, and the couple are said to be house hunting in Krakow, Poland, so the actress can be close to her family once the baby is born.

Things are getting rather serious for the pair, but many Farrell fans are left wondering if the infamous playboy will be ready to commit.

Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and look at the 33-year-old Irish actor’s past love life, a track record that just may be more extensive than his acting career.

Farrell’s first relationship in the public eye ended up in marriage. The Irishman wed teenage English actress Amelia Warner, of “Mansfield Park” and “Quills” fame, in Hawaii in July 2001 – and divorced less than a year later.

The actor, who was 25 at the time, had “Millie” tattooed on his ring finger for his wife, but said it was all “too fast, too young.”

After his divorce, the newly famous Farrell went on a binge of drugs, alcohol and women. He dated singer and model Hazel Kareswarren, had a baby with Canadian model Kim Bordenave and had a fling with Britney Spears, all in the span of a year or so.

In 2004, the handsome bad boy was spotted kissing 18-year-old Lindsay Lohan while out clubbing, and was also linked to a string of co-stars, including Rosario Dawson and Salma Hayek, who he was seen kissing backstage at the 2006 Golden Globes.

Farrell’s name hit the headlines in 2005 in some not-so-flattering romance news.

That year, the actor filed a lawsuit against his former girlfriend, Playboy model Nicole Narain, over the unauthorized public distribution of a sex tape the two had made in 2003. The Irishman attempted to block its distribution, but the 14-minute tape leaked onto the Web in 2006.

Also in 2005, Dame Eileen Atkins, Farrell’s “Ask the Dust” co-star was was 70 at the time, revealed that Farrell spent almost three hours propositioning her for “sex with no strings.” Atkins said she was tempted, but turned down the Irish Casanova because he was 42 years her junior.

In December 2005, Farrell checked into rehab and got clean. He’s since had a couple serious relationships.

The first was with 22-year-old Trinity medical student Muireann McDonnell, whom Farrell declared was “the one,” saying: "We're really happy. It's easy to find girls, but it's not easy to find the right one."

The lovebirds, however, quietly parted ways last year, and Farrell soon hooked up with English writer Emma Forrest.

Irish playwright and “In Bruges” director Martin McDonagh introduced the two, who dated for a year before breaking up in February.

Baby rumors surrounded Farrell and Forrest when he and his girlfriend were spotted buying a pregnancy test last summer.

At the same time, Farrell met 26-year-old Bacheda on the set of Neil Jordan’s Irish film “Ondine.”

Farrell and Forrest were said to be buying a home in L.A. together, and the Irsih actor reportedly had plans to convert to Judaism for his love.

But the Irish actor upset Forrest when he failed to introduce her to his family, and didn’t mention her in his Golden Globes acceptance speech this year.

Now Farrell is with Bacheda, but the Irishman’s dirty laundry will be aired on screen again when later this year, Forrest releases “Liars (A-E),” a film she wrote revealing her behind-the-scenes relationship with the Farrell.

Only time will tell if Farrell and Bacheda can withstand the stress that comes along with being a famous movie star with a sordid past in love.
