Susan Boyle will be singing live at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York on Monday November 23 for the "Today" show.

The performance is bound to draw an enormous crowd as this is the first confirmed public appearance by Susan in the Big Apple.

NBC advises that fans should arrive by 6 a.m. to try and get a good viewing position but fans are expected to start lining up long before that.

The concert, which is part of the Toyota series on the "Today" show will take place at 8 a.m.

Susan's legions of American fans have already begun planning trips to New York to take in the show which takes place the same day as the hotly-anticipated release of her debut album, 'I Dreamed a Dream.'

The concert announcement comes just days after Amazon said that advance sales for 'I Dreamed a Dream' topped any other advance orders in the retailer’s history.

Amazon says that Susan has blitzed past established stars such as U2, Norah Jones, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay.

There was so much demand on Amazon's servers that it created a special 'store' page for 'I Dreamed a Dream.'

What a fabulous year for this fabulous woman!
