Sarah Jessica Parker has cancelled her annual Irish summer holiday.

It’s become an annual rite of summer for superstar Parker and her Irish-American hubby Matthew Broderick: a visit to the remote west of Ireland, Kilcar, County Donegal, to be exact, where the family enjoys some quiet down time in the cottage they purchased in 2002.

But the family has expanded since last year, and now includes newborn surrogate twin daughters Marion and Tabitha in addition to son James, who’s six.

Traveling with such a large brood won’t be possible this time around, according to the locals who keep in touch with the New York-based couple. Parker explained to them that she doesn’t want to risk flying a long journey with the twins.

The news of the couple’s cancelled vacation plans has some speculating that they’ve split up, but sources close to the duo say differently.

“Everyone here is disappointed but we understand,” a local told Ireland’s Sunday World. “She and her husband Matthew have been coming here for the past six or seven years and they have got to know quite a few people in the locality.”
