MTV’s Hollywood Crush has named “Water For Elephants” staring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson as one of the top three movies of 2011.

The movies that MTV are most anticipating this year are “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”.

MTV believe that Pattinson will really prove himself as a serious actor in the upcoming movie based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Sara Gruen.

The movie tells the tale of Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson) a veterinary student who drops out of Cornell University during his senior year because of a family tragedy. He joins the red-tag Benzini Brothers Circus by accident after jumping on a midnight train. He falls in love with Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) an older married woman her husband causes difficulties.

Already the movie is receiving Oscar buzz with Robert Pattinson expected to score his first statue for his superior acting.

It will be released on April 22.
