Robert Pattinson has officially made it. He has become the latest waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

The waxwork, revealed in Times Square, features his trademark hair and smoldering narrowed eyes. Even though it isn’t the real shy and charming British star, fans were going wild.

"We are delighted to be able to give them the chance to cosy up with their idol here at Madame Tussauds and judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning he is set to top our most-kissed list of celebrities very quickly!” said Liz Edwards, a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds.

A lucky group of fans were invited to the event. One drooling fan said “It’s amazing….it’s like meeting the real thing.” Some of the fans had waited outside since 4 a.m. to catch a glimpse of the model.

The wax model took four months to create and cost $220,000. Pattinson will now take his place next to waxworks of Miley Cyrus, John Travolta, the Osbournes and Woody Allen.
