One Direction met Oprah Winfrey backstage at the Jonathan Ross show on Friday.

The internationally famous boy band apparently won over the TV superstar; she turned to Twitter to shared her excitement at meeting the teen idols.

"Backstage at @jonathanrossshow London with @onedirection #cuteboys," she tweeted.

The Irish Independent
reports that Oprah also stopped for a photograph with the bend, posing behind Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles, who were all smiles.

One Direction has only been together for three years, but their popularity is about to soar even higher, having earned the stamp of approval from Oprah.

While in London, the band also performed and hosted a segment for BBC's Children in Need TV charity event, which raises money for disadvantaged children in the U.K.

"Everyone watch @BBCCiN tonight ! It's gona be a great show!" Niall Horan tweeted on Friday. "And for a great cause."
