READ MORE- Michael Flatley is the top lord again

Michael Flatley’s world famous “Lord of the dance” show will make its way to the big screen next year, with Flatley himself starring in the 3D movie version which is set to be released in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Nineteen Fifteen are the 3D production company behind the film in association with ITN Productions.

The production will be directed by Marcus Viner who was responsible for 'David Bowie: A Reality Tour.'

The feature will incorporate new sets, lights and elaborate costumes and was shot in both London and Dublin last month.

So far, there are no plans to release the 3D show in the U.S., with producers saying it will be shown from Match 17th in selected UK and Irish theaters.
