Irish actor Michael Fassbender is to star in a new movie alongside Viggo Mortensen, Keira Knightley and Vincent Cassel.

“A Dangerous Method” will be directed by David Cronenberg. The movie explores relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud that many believe led to the discovery of their in-depth method of psychoanalysis.

David Cronenberg most recently made the headlines with his movies “A History of Violence” and “Eastern Promises”, both of which starred Mortensen.

Micheal Fassbender, of “Hunger’ and this summer’s “Centurion” fame, will play Carl Jung opposite Viggo Mortensen as Freud. The film will principally be set in Germany but the exact locations are yet to be confirmed.

Fassbender is having a particularly busy year. Right now he is filming “Jane Eyre” in Britain and his action adventure film “Centurion” will be released later this month.
