That groaning sound you hear is Megan Fox forcing herself into a tiny 18-inch corset.

Fox told the press this week that she was happy to dive into her role as a prostitute in her new flick 'Jonah Hex,' co-starring Josh Brolin and opening this Friday. She particularly liked her corset costume.

"I loved the corset. People thought I was in pain because my waist was so small (18 inches). I wasn't. I wish corsets could come back."

Well that's one person, at least. Other women are quite content not to cut off their oxygen supply in pursuit of illusion.

As well as squeezing herself into painful contortions Fox also talked seriously about how she has handled overnight fame.

"People who are famous and make it to this level of fame for whatever reason--whether it's deserved or not--you have to be a strong person to survive it," she said.

"It's very difficult to be under the microscope every moment of every day. Everything that leaves your mouth becomes this sensationalized news story, no matter what your intentions were when you first said it. It becomes overwhelming."
