Lindsay Lohan arrived ten minutes late for her court hearing this morning in Beverly Hills.

Insisting that her past behavior does not call for jail time or rehab she attempted to get a more lenient sentence of drug and alcohol testing that would fit in with her schedule. She failed.

Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s lawyer, said “Ms. Lohan has a number of upcoming photo shoots as well as filming a movie in Texas…the SCRAM bracelet would interfere.”

Judge Marsha Revel suggested that Lohan delay her project and set a probation violation hearing for July 6.

Judge Revel has postponed her own holiday to take this hearing and deal with Lohan’s case; she was in no mood for being lenient.
She said "She needs to submit to random drug testing here, not in Texas. I'm afraid she's going to have to delay that for now."

Lohan will now have to wear an ankle-bracelet, a SCRAM device and has been ordered to abstain from drugs or alcohol and undergo testing as least once a week. Bail was set at $100,000 and she must, yet again, attend all of her alcohol-education courses.

Her lawyer gave a brief statement and said "I want the court to know that Ms. Lohan intends to comply,"

Let hope that Lohan manages to comply with Judge Revel’s terms. Revel said “Failure to show for random drug testing is the same as a dirty test to the court.”
