"Children of Men" and "30 Rock" star Julianne Moore has been signed on for the Nick Flynn bio-pic "'Another Bulls**t Night In Suck City" alongside Robert DeNiro.

Moore (50) signed up to the Paul Weitz-directed project based on the memoir by playwright and poet Nick Flynn. The movie details his reunion with his estranged alcoholic father, Jonathan.

The character of Nick will be played by Paul Dano. Nick works in different homeless shelters in Boston in the 1980s when he discovers his Dad (Robert DeNiro) living in one of the refuge shelters.

Who Moore will play has not been disclosed. She will be joined by "Juno" star Olivia Thirlby.

According to Deadline.com, Olivia will play the love interest who helps Nick get a job in the shelter.

Shooting for the movie will begin in New York City from March 3 to April 22.
