A sense of normalcy seems to have re-appeared in the troubled life of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who was arrested at Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris last month after a drunken tirade at an airport bar saw him slug a waiter and allegedly threaten other staffers with death.

Rhys Meyers was snapped last week at Ardmore Studios in Bray, County Wicklow, where he’ll spend the next few weeks shooting the fourth and final season of his hit Showtime series "The Tudors," in which he plays King Henry VIII. The series will wrap for good with 10 episodes airing at the start of next year.

JRM will have to face the music back in Paris in September, though, where police have charged him with "willful violence, outrage, hitting and threatening death” as a result of his breakdown at the airport on June 20.

According to reports at the time, a wasted JRM challenged police to a fight and bragged that he could get out of any trouble because of his fame and wealth.  "You wanna hit me? Hit me!" he allegedly shouted at the cops, and then threw bunches of euro bills at them.

It’s not the first time that the Irish star has encountered alcohol-related troubles when trying to get from one place to another. In 2007 he was busted at Dublin Airport after being loud and abusive when trying to board a flight to London, but all charges were subsequently dropped.
