Top Irish designer, milliner, Philip Treacy surprised the contestants on "Project Runway" last night as he showed up unexpectedly.
Presenter of the show, Heidi Klum, introduced the contestants to their challenge. The aim of Thursday's challenge was to design dresses to go with Philip Treacy's hat designs which were modeled on the stage.

The genius of Treacy's designs amazing the audience and collection alike. What was interesting was the influence that his hat designs had on the contestants dress designs however, many of them failed to compliment his original designs.

Treacy also got some other good news today. John Lewis, the high-end department store, has added Treacy along with Osman Yousefzada to their designer collection, Vogue has announced.

The store has spent $15.5 million on a fashion floor revamp. They'll unveil their new look and new designer ranges at Fashion's Night Out in September.
