Co Tyrone singer Donna Taggart is topping the easy listening charts with the recent release of her video ‘Jealous of the Angels’ on Facebook.

The video quickly went viral with 22 million views and over a half a million shares in a matter of weeks.

The song, which was written by talented singer/songwriter Jenn Bostic after the death of her father, has now reached No.1 in the iTunes U.S. Easy Listening Chart and No. 43 as the top downloaded track in the U.S. on iTunes, alongside musical talents such as Beyonce, Jay Z and Kanye West.

Remarkably, the song has also reached No.1 in the Canadian, Australian, South African, Irish and British Easy Listening Charts.

Donna Taggart started singing when she was 22. Her acclaimed debut album ‘Celtic Lady Vol.1’ was released in 2011. ‘Bright Blue Rose,’ a single from the album, was a huge hit and provided the platform for the Omagh native to establish herself as one of the most popular wedding, hotel and concert performers in Ireland.

The release of her second album, ‘Celtic Lady Vol. 2,’ in 2013 led to TV appearances on the Ireland West Music TV Christmas show alongside some of the top musical talent in Ireland.

After becoming a new mother, Taggart was inspired to record ‘Mom,’ which was released to coincide with Mother’s Day in 2015. ‘Mom’ peaked at No.1 in the iTunes UK and Ireland Easy Listening Chart and is included on Taggart’s much anticipated third album due to be released later this year.
