Irish TV personality and Rose of Tralee presenter Daithí O’Sé tied the knot with Rita Talty, a former New Jersey Rose of Tralee, in Ireland on Thursday.

Surrounded by friends and family, the IrishCentral blogger and well known Irish TV personality exchanged vows with his American bride in at St Mary’s Church in Dingle Co. Kerry during a 2pm ceremony.

As the bride and groom arrived separately, each party was greeted with loud cheers.

“There’s no pulling out now, I suppose,” the groom joked before the ceremony.

The bride looked stunning in an ivory vintage lace gown flanked by her six bridesmaids who wore black gowns.

O’Sé, a RTE presenter and host of the Rose of Tralee, recently revealed how he knew Rita was ‘the one’ right away.

He told the Ray Darcy Show on Today Fm Radio, “I had really good fun when I was single, but I suppose I didn’t meet anyone like Rita until I met her.

“Once I met her I knew she was the one. Until then I hadn’t met anyone that I wanted to get married to or settle down.”

O’Sé joked about how people were accusing him of marrying Rita for a green card.

He laughed: “I have an American passport. I was accused of marrying Rita for a Green Card. But sure I had a passport before she was even born.”

For their honeymoon, the newlyweds are going to Amsterdam, and on to a cruise that visits Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Russia.
