It's been quite a couple of weeks for Brian O’Driscoll, the Irish rugby superstar. First he captained the Irish to their first Grand Slam championship, and now he’s scored a home run (or whatever they call it in rugby) off the field as well with his engagement to girlfriend Amy Huberman, an Irish actress who appears on TV there. The happy couple showed off her €30,000 sparkler on Monday, but they’ve haven’t yet settled on a wedding date. The rugby hero seems to be quite the romantic as well, spelling out the words “will you marry me” in his garden as a way to surprise his future bride. Awwwww! . . .

Liam Neeson returned to work, finishing up shooting on "Chloe" in Toronto. The film, or at least his part in it, was nearly complete when Neeson rushed from the set after his wife Natasha Richardson’s tragic skiing accident that resulted in her still shocking death last month. Neeson, ever the professional, spent a couple of days in Toronto last week tending to what needed to be done. "Chloe" also stars Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried. In it, Neeson plays a man whose wife suspects him of cheating.
